BURSARY WINNERS *************************
We are pleased to announce the Winners of the Area 3B £150 Bursary competition. Lucy Sawyer and Isaac Pye. Well done to your both. Lucy is having private lessons from Katy Carter, and Isaac is having tuition from Joe Whittaker.. Watch out for the next Bursary competition later in the year.
WINTER SHOW.
We held our Winter show at Willoughby Hill Competition Yard at the end of February, which was quite well attended despite the horrible cold weather we have been having, and the bad weather forecast the day before the show. We would like to thank all Area members and non members for their support, and we would like to say a special thankyou to the Cooper Family for all their hard work in the Working Hunter Pony Ring on the day of the show, and the day before setting up the course. Also, a huge thankyou to Elaine Pye for organising the schedule/judges and the flat rings, and for bringing along her good friend Amanda May who stood in as the secretary for the day, thanks Amanda!! TEACH-IN We held a teach in at Bromley farm stables on the 7th May, this was very well supported, but unfortunately only approx 50% of the attendees were 3b members, but hopefully the other people may have enjoyed the day enough to maybe join 3b another year. A big thankyou to Sarah Emmerson who came to teach, and a Huge thank you to Debbie Harrod for organising the day, the Hot Dogs Went down a storm !!!!!!! thanks Debbie.. thankyou...
Stewards Wanted for White Rose County Show
Sunday 9th May 2010....for 1 hour, 3 hours, half a day or all day......This is an ideal opportunity maybe for people who are not showing at the moment, or maybe the parents whos children have retired, or for some of our older 3b teenage members to gain some experience of running a show ring. We really do need your help, there are 10 rings, and we need more stewards. Please call Debbie Gregson on 07930 353093..... Thankyou.
Area 3B New Summer Show We will be holding a NEW show on the 27th June 2010. The BSPS AREA 3B - DOUBLE POINTS SHOW. At Mill Lane Stables, Brayton, Nr Selby We will have qualifiers for the BSPS Blue Ribbon for ~Show Ponies~ Show Hunter Ponies ~ and Working Hunter ponies ~ Champion of Champions, Premier League classes, Best Rider, and many more classes. Double points will be awarded to area 3b members who are placed 1st to 6th in any class that are on our points list. Nominations for Directorship 2009 Invitation to be nominated as a candidate for Directorship of BSPS Area 3B Ltd
BSPS AREA 3B Bursary Application are invited from area 3B member for two Bursaries each to the value of £150.00, these will be available after Christmas.
